The following are the 15 official Championship Classes for 2010 offered by the Los Angeles Kart Club. Please keep in mind that the descriptions and rule call outs are guidelines and not be construed as the only rules for the class (es) in reference. Please refer to an IKF Rule book and or Rotax Max Challenge rules. For LAKC club rules refer to www.lakc.org, or obtain a copy at registration.

Kart Challenge Local Series

ALL ROTAX CHALLENGE CLASSES WILL FOLLOW THE 2010 RULES.
Participants calling LAKC their "home club" will receive a "credit or punch" toward participation to the Grand Nationals and National Points. Mazda Rotax Kart Challenge racers will be required to have a Mazda Rotax Kart Challenge License paid for by LAKC if you call us your home club a $35.00 value. Allowing anyone who wants to attend the 2010 Grand nationals the opportunity to do so. For details see series director Greg Jackson at 562-420-1494

Rotax Masters	VPMS93 Motul 800 Oil	405lbs	32 and up or 16 and up if over 190 lbs.	Mojo D2 Spec Tire	Official age is 32. The age of 32 must be reached by December 31, 2010. Competitors of competition age less than 32 years old (competition age) must reach the attained age of 16 by October 31, 2010 and have a minimum driver weight of 190 lbs including all race apparel except helmet. Passport Required
Rotax Senior	VPMS93 Motul 800 Oil	365lbs	15 up	Mojo D2 Spec Tire	Competitor must be the attained age of 15 by December 31, 2010. Passport Required
Rotax Junior	VPMS93 Motul 800 Oil	320lbs	13-16	Mojo D2 Spec Tire	Mandatory use of a junior cylinder without exhaust valve. Competitor must reach the actual attained age of 13 by December 31, 2010. No junior class competitor may attain the actual age of 17 years old prior to December 31, 2010. SFI Approved Chest Protector recommended. Kids must present a birth certificate. Passport Required
Rotax Mini Max Approved Chest Protector Mandatory	VPMS93 Motul 800 Oil	265lbs	9-12	Mojo D2 Spec Tire	Mandatory use of junior cylinder and restrictors as specified by Rotax, or other restrictors that may be required by the 2010 USRMC Rules Primer. National spec. gear is 13 x 82. SFI Chest Protectors mandatory. Competitors will be required to reach the attained age of 9 before competing in the Mini Max class. Kids must present a birth certificate. Passport Required.
Rotax DD2	VPMS93 Motul 800 Oil	385 lbs	15 up	Mojo D3 Spec Tire	Competitor must be the age of 15 by December 31, 2010. Passport Required

Fuel Testing and Sample

Fuel is specified and must pass any test presented by the official tech personnel. The "sample" fuel will be VP-MS98L with Burris Castor or Burris Blend Pre mix oil at 20:1 Ratio. Rotax Motors VP-MS93 with Motul 800 Oil @ 32:1 Ratio. TAG VP-MS98L with Motul Grand Prix. Stock Shifter classes VP-MS98L with Kal-Gard. ”Built” Shifters VP-C12 and Kal-Gard. 4 Stroke class VP-MS98L. Participant is allowed one "fuel check". Any DQ is at the discretion of the Post Tech Supervisor. His decision is final and not pro testable.

Disclaimer: LAKC reserves the right to eliminate or add any class that does not meet the minimum requirements to be eligible for a championship. The minimum average to make a championship class is 5 per race. LAKC reserves the right to alter or change any of the above description as needed.
