So I'm in the process of building a harbor freight trailer that I will tow with my subaru. The trailer is too small for a kart so people who have used these make a platform in which the kart sits on. Someone I auto-x with who has been my beacon of light in all things karting just used to long pieces of wood on both sides going down the length of the trailer. The pieces of wood rest on the fenders with supports at both the front and back.
That is pretty much my intentions but I was wondering if anyone had any input, perhaps some of you have done something similar?

I have seen motorcycle ramps used so the tires will not slide side to side.You may try plywood first then ramps. Just a thought
