 Shifter Class - tire question
Which tire do you require for shifters - are you going to require the 'SKUSA' tire or give the driver the option between FZ and SKUSA. My choice is...whatever Pitts sell. Thanks. Alex

hi alex. in the deluxxe discussion thread it says tires are open to cik homologated tires..
so i guess either version of mg's would work.

Mr. King, the tires for all shifter classes are open. Run what you want.
No 6 inch rims on shifter karts, just in case that was your next questions.

bridgestone makes a great new tire that is priced right. If anyone wants shifter tires they need to make sure they order ahead of time not sure how many sets we will just have on hand.

 MG Tires @ Pitts Performance.
Hey Alex - I just checked around and Pitts Performance also has a great price on MG Tires at only $210 and they can deliver at the track on race day so you don't have to pay shipping. YEA, NO SHIPPING CHARGE and I think they will also mount them for you.
Give em a call at 888 GO PITTS or 888 467-4887.
Whatever you do, don't tell them that I sent you.

Re: MG Tires @ Pitts Performance.
Yes. I exchanged emails w/ Latorre earlier this week - PITTS is my official tire supplier for the year and Jairo (PITTS) is my official Director, Tire Management (he will do the mounting hee hee). See you on Sunday!

Thanks for the info - and I am assuming that LAKC will enforce it and leave things as they are (open to C.I.K. homologated tires only), at least for this Sunday.

Is there anyway to playback races from earlier in the day and listen to the announcing?

Unfortunately not yet. If all the bugs get worked out then that option will be available soon.

So did LAKC allow the MG white (SKUSA) tire? Will this be added to the allowable tires as well as all CIK approved tires for the next event?

I checked the tires in the final mains and didn't see any White MG's. Bridgestones, FZ MG's, Vega and a few sets of Mojo's. 1 set of Continentals which looked brand new.
Tonight is the Club meeting and I believe they BOD is discussing the MG White tires.
More to follow. . . .
Classes - Yea, I noticed that they had me in the Spec class also, which will be corrected in the next few days.
Have a good night Mike, home from school.

So what was the result of the meeting? I need to know before I buy 10 sets of SKUSA MG tires.
