Post Thanks LAKC ! home from the last race; karts unloaded; driving suits in the washer; and already trying to figure out how to pick up another second or two before February.

Want to take a minute to reflect on the past season:
- Made some new friends that we didn't know last February, and hope to know for a very long time.
- Lost touch with a few friends who have gone on to do something other than racing, and always miss spending Sunday racedays with them.
- Learned to get just a bit better on the track.
- Learned to get just a bit better off the track.
- Had a bucketful of fun along the way.

And none of this would had happened without the hard work of everybody who is part of the LAKC organization. Thanks to all in LAKC for a great 2013 season, and congratulations to all who participated during the year.

Stephen and I are already looking forward to the first race in the new year.

As some of you know, I clown around quite a bit on this forum, so I will stop that immediately so that I don't waste any of your time and take away from the importance of real/serious posts of this fourm.

But before that, do want to say thanks to LAKC officials (all o them) - much appreciation from my side for the work you do (individually and collectively). I know it is not easy so big thanks from my side! And I selifshly hope you continue to dedicate significant hours of your time for the benefit of others.

And last, big thanks again to both Billy Musgrave and Willy Musgrave of MRC for their tremendous support this year. Among many other fantastic things they did for me - a perfect competitive kart package that experienced ZERO reliability and in the hands of a real driver...could have gone even faster. I am seriuosly unable to quantify their help so I can only say big thanks!!!
