 Tires
Is the club adapting to SKUSA rules as mentioned in DM? How will that effect the open tire rule for us?
Also, I am starting to realize that tire pressure is crucial to this track!!

I would suspect that the Open tire rule would remain the same with addition of the SKUSA White tire allowed.

I would suspect the same. LAKC clearly stated the rules up front - at the beginning of the 2011 racing season - that all CIK homoligated tires are allowed. To avoid confusion and misunderstanding, LAKC further clarified that the new MG SKUSA tires were allowed as well, in addition to all CIK homoligated tires. In my personal opinion, LAKC has been working hard in building consistency/standard rules - so you can expect no changes during mid-season.

John, I'm sure you are speaking of the Drivers Meeting information provided by Chris Latorre and Greg Jackson regarding the Shifter Classes. The clarification was so everyone would be aware of where to guidelines for questions could be followed or found.
The 2 post of above this one by Alex K and Mike G are correct in stating that CIK homoligated tires are allowed. It is not the intent of LAKC to adopt the SKUSA MG White Tire for all of the Shifter classes.
for Esample:If you were able to get a set of MOJO's and wanted to mount and race them in any Shifter class you would be welcomed not denied. This rule will not change for this season and I hope it remains to same for many seasons to come as the price of tires can become rediculous rather quickly.
Thanks for posting and if anything else surfaces please feel free to start a thread as Mike and Alex do on everything. LOL

I am not Mike Goebel's friend. We do not get a long. We have nothing in common. Yes, he beat me to highest posts at EKN but I am not going to lose to him here at LAKC!

I just changed the pic. to an angled view. Do you like it? You should get a pic of your helmet for your Avitar.
