International known as the true iceman, Rob Whitley is set to return to the cockpit this weekend after experiencing personal injuries that forced him out of racing during the last two rounds of the LAKC’s World Championship. Whitley who was powered by Honda during the past few years is credited by some as the new ICC pioneer or at least inducing other premier drivers to contemplate the idea of making an ICC switch. A reliable source close to Whitley reports that the iceman is expected to return to Calspeed this weekend, possibly driving the Honda, in preparation for August’s highly anticipated event – which may include – the battle of the titans between Team ARG and Pulp Racing and severe scrutiny over Chris Curtis, after his controversial maiden victory earlier this month.
