German golden-hands superstar Michael Goebel is expected to get a power boost as early as next week, according to sources close to Goebel who spoke anonymously on this subject:

“I know for a fact, that UPS picked up today a single box with total weight of 83 lbs. This package was picked up near central California and it is in route to be delivery next week to MFG Technology Centre. I also know for a fact that in this box, it contains two complete ICC engine packages originally built and maintained by SwedeTech.”

Team ARG did not deny knowledge of such package heading down to MFG Technology Centre and hinted that its factory pilot Michael Goebel will soon announce his return to competition after a 2-year sabbatical:

“Goebel is a perfectionist, he doesn’t do anything half way, it’s do it all or do it nothing at all for him. And it is no secret that we are at LAKC to dominate in Open Shifter, so it would make sense that we provide ICC powered engines to Goebel for his return to racing and we are certain that he will be immediately competing for victory.”

The team did confirm that Brazilian star Alex King will not be powered by ICC in August but left the option open for September:

“King will be in a Honda next month. First, due to contractual obligations that he has to fulfill. Second, because we are not ready yet to give him an ICC. These things take time. We have identified an ICC engine package for him, it is one of the strongest package in North America, originally developed in Canada. It’s not a firm deal yet but we are working very hard on it. If things work out well, racing with an ICC package in September is possible.”

However, the Brazilian driver has quickly jumped in clarify his potential new move and that his driving and not his motor will be the reason for his dominance in Open Shifter:

“The fact is that it is Open Shifter. And the fact is that some of the guys out there, particularly some of the guys running up front, are not running a Stock Honda – nothing wrong with that. However, I want to go out there next month with a Stock Honda and destroy the competition, regardless of the engine type they have. Then I will move to ICC and that is when everything will end, because there won’t be any more competition. Everyone will be depressed and they will end up quitting, one by one.”

All things are a go for team mfg Kosmic/GP racing this coming week. ICC Engines arrive on Monday July 30th. While Golden hands superstar will be working fastidiously on the dyno, the engines will be picked up by mfg technology centre's shipping manager Klaus Ludwig. The engines will then proceed to receiving where Heidi Von Schonentiten will unpack the delivered items. 1st inspection will take place at 10:32 AM by Dieter Kolbenschmidt and Manfred Mahle. The items will then be brought in front of the master the man the legend golden hands German Superstar engine builder and racing pilot Michael Goebel for the final inspection to determine if the engines are even salvageable after being assembled by an unknown, to Goebel, Swedish engine builder with varying degrees of success here in the USA. If the engines are determined to be good then disassembly will begin immediately and the engines will be brought up to mfg Technology Centre's specifications. At this time no deadline information is available but it is know that Goebel's attention to detail and ability to meet or exceed deadline time constrains is without a doubt the best in the industry.
