The ‘Show’, Shuga, and Sheff lead FTK domination at LAKC
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
The ‘Show’, Shuga, and Sheff lead FTK domination at Los Angeles Kart Club
July 28, 2010 (Orange, Calif.) – It was nothing less than total domination by Full Throttle Karting customers at this past weekend’s monthly Los Angeles Kart Club race. Held on the Nuovo course of the Calspeed Karting Center at Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, California, FTK customers dominated the Rotax Max Challenge classes.
In the Rotax Senior class, it was an FTK podium sweep as the recently married John ‘The Crow Show’ Crow led Jeremy ‘Shuga’ Kane and Brett Sheffer across the finish line as the checkered flag fell. Kane, recently moving to the Senior class from Junior, had just returned from the Rotax Grand Nationals where he finished the Rotax Senior main in seventh position.
In Junior Rotax, FTK customers nearly enjoyed another podium sweep as Dakota Dickerson took the honors with Breanna Miscione finishing third with Timmy de Silva right behind in fourth. Dickerson is the defending Junior Rotax class champion at LAKC and also had a strong finish at this year’s Rotax Grand Nationals, finishing seventh in the Junior Rotax final.
In the competitive Rotax Masters class, Steve Dzurilla led the entire field home aboard his FTK-powered Birel for the victory. Dzurilla is also the defending class champion at LAKC in Rotax Masters, and it showed as he was unchallenged by the rest of the field in the final. But if Dzurilla was unchallenged, little Nicky Hays was in his own zip code as he took the win in Rotax MiniMax with nearly a lap in hand over the kart in second. In all, FTK customers won four mains and recorded seven total podium positions on Sunday.
“We put a lot of our time and energy into supporting our LAKC customers, so it is very gratifying to see so many of them do well,â€
