Information regarding Certified Birth Certificates Required for IKF / LAKC Membership effective January 1, 2011.
Effective January 1, 2011, the International Kart Federation and LAKC will require all minor members, under the age of 18, to have a Certified BIrth Certificate on file at the IKF Office and Los Angeles Karting Championship office. AKA LAKC
Copies will not be accepted.
If you have a 2011 IKF membership number that will also be allowed so you will not be required to provide the birth certificate twice.
Please send a Certified Birth Certificate or 2011 IKF member number with all new and renewing minor memberships in 2011. Current IKF minor members may send their Birth Certificate at any time during 2010.
The IKF / LAKC will require this only once - we do not need this done each year.
Renewal Memberships received without the Certified Birth Certificates will be on hold and considered expired until the Certified Birth Certificate is received at the IKF or LAKC Office. New Memberships will not be processed without the Certified Birth Certificate.
Please e-mail Memberships at firstname.lastname@example.org
if you have any questions. Be prepared, this could hold up your ability to join the series and start receiving points.
