 lakc membership fee
Why do minors have to pay a extra $25 for there memership. If the parent of the minor raced I understand, but I dont, therefore my sons membership should only be $65. The rotax memership is one fee for the driver. (minor or not) Thank you, just like a explanion.

"Membership Fee - $65, Additional Family Members under 18 years old - $25 each"
I think you are reading it wrong. If you and your son joined it would be $65 for you and $25 for your son. I believe its only $65 if just your son joins.

Members must be adults 18 years old or older. So because your son is a minor you need to become the member weather you race or not. then you sign your son up as a family member so they can race. Its just the way membership works.

You can make changes, memberships are for the driver, minor or not. Look at rotax membership. Why does a non-driver need a membership.

IKF does it the same as LAKC.
Adult has to be the primary member.

why do you have to respond like that? The insurance company does this. If you are a rotax member racing with us as a minor you will need to sign up for LAKC and rotax. The new rotax/cal state series will have the same requirement. Maybe you could not just jump to the conclusion that we are ripping people for 25.00 but there may be higher ups that make us meet minimum requirements.

People.... its $25. Take a minute and think about that carefully... $25 extra for a minor membership for an ENTIRE YEAR.... $25 doesn't even give u half a tank of gas now days. And this is an issue? Really?
