Attention LAKC Rotax racers!

Effective beginning with our May 22nd race, we will allow all Rotax classes to use the new Mojo D2 "CKI" tire. We will also allow racers to compete with the "old style" Mojo D2 tire if they so choose. This will continue until the end of the year or until local inventories are sold out.

Do you know when our local shops are expected to get their first shipment(s)?

We will have 25 sets next Tuesday.

I'm not exactly sure when the local shops will get there inventory of the new tire. To my knowledge, most of the local shops have been in the loop regarding this expected change and have planned accordingly. I would reccommend that our Rotax racers contact their local dealer and inquire regarding their stock. I'm hoping this will not be an issue since we have 12 days before our May 22nd race.

Effective beginning with the June 4-5 race at Willow Springs, Cal State will allow all Rotax classes to use the new Mojo D2 "CKI" tire. We will also allow racers to compete with the "old style" Mojo D2 tire if they so choose. This will continue until the end of the year or until local inventories are sold out.

This is exactly the same plan as LAKC. In fact, I cut and pasted Marc's post...

Karttech will also have several sets of the new D2 tires. According to PSL racing whos been racing with those tires for several months, we're looking at a 2 to 3 tenth quicker...it should be interresting
