 Trophy Presentation or Podium?
Now I love our home at L.A.K.C so no bashing. BUT...
I think it would be cool to have a mini award ceremony after or before the races. Even if its just to hand out the trophies at the end of the race and take some pics at the podium. Don't get me wrong, I would love to have anthems played and trophy girls with pyrotechnics and champagne, but I can settle for a handshake and a picture. You could then upload them to a "Podium" album on the good ol' website or facebook page.
Have top three go to podium with trophy after tech, or something like that. Just an idea. Just seems a bit unceremonious to just get a trophy tossed to you after you sweated it out on the track. Specially for those who don't podium often, its a big moment and it'd be nice to capture it on the podium.
I know LAKC runs tight on time every race, but all we would need is a photographer at the podium once the mains start. I'm sure no one would object to taking the walk to the podium.
Any other takers?

Fantastic idea! I will also add that it would be much beneficial to the club, current members and future generation of racers of Southern California, North American and most parts of the world if LAKC makes necessary arrangements to have its official and unofficial photographers take approxiimately 147 pictures of ME per event and upload them all in a specially designated tab on this site.

Mr. Guiterrez, great idea.
Alex K- once again must put you on blast, as if a photographer was to take 147 pictures of you, they would be additional reasons of why you couldn't make the race.

Ya man I just think it would be a little nicer than just grabbing a trophy on your way outta a tech. But eh, I'll drill it into Chris's brain for a bit and see what he says.

 Re: Trophy Presentation or Podium?
Alex G. This is great news. I give you full authority to assemble a volunteer team to put this idea together. You are now pronounced head Trophy presentation coordinator. Let me know if there is anything we can do to help you promote this new and exciting project. Our container has plenty of room for you to store your podium etc. I will give you the lock code so you will have access to it in time to set it up Saturday or Sunday. Feel free to bring all the Trophy girls to can get together and send me your plan for your presentation.

Hey don't tempt me, I'll do it! If you're serious I can get something together, at least in time for March's race! Trophy Girls and a photographer, don't we have a silver podium at Cal Speed?

The podium is not ours.
