Re: LAKC and SKUSA team up
Guys, I will try and make this nice and short. We have unfairly referenced SKUSA rules for years. To make things right we will work together with SKUSA and that will require everyone to run a spec. tire. All the rest on our rules (the same rules that we ran last year will remain the same) as LAKC local options. You can find those rules under our classes section. LAKC has no desire to get into the rule writing business and SKUSA works very hard to do that for us all to enjoy. They provide the best shifter tech rule book available to organisations like ours. So to be clear. The only change the races will notice is there is NOW a spec. tire for the following classes. TaG S2 S4 Deluxxe

E.T. If you truly did purchase two years worth of tires, I will make you a trade. Your 16 sets of yellows for whites. 1. You will need to show me the original purchase receipt. 2. I will do a straight exchange, no refunds you did no buy them from me in the first place. I feel this should satisfy your concerns. Please do not hesitate to contact me so I can make the necessarily arrangements for this exchange. See you in a week. I hope you still have enough money left over to attend our race. Chris LaTorre

Re: LAKC and SKUSA team up
Chris -
All jokes aside. Myself, Mike Goebel and Elbert Thompson bought sufficient MG Yellow tires with the intend to compete in nowhere but at LAKC. Combined, we have a totla of 14 sets. Please confirm that we can trade these sets for the 'new' LAKC spec tire and we will coordinate and work directly w/ you. I have the original receipt for the tires. Do note that due to personal commitments, we will not be able to make to Round 1; however, we are very much looking forward to Round 2 and the rest of the year.
Thanks,
Alex 949-677-0736

Re: LAKC and SKUSA team up
Chris -
I think you made a couple of irrelevant points - but that is besides the point. I thought I would check w/ you on the offer you made to ET because we (myself, Goebel and ET) were on the same boat together - but I do understand your side - absolutely no worries - will find a way to unload the tires or simply use them myself in Open Class - it's all for fun anyways!
I will add that I have been a strong supporter of you as LAKC's President; however, I do think that you could have managed this arrangement with SKUSA a little bit better. In any event, I will see you guys in March.
Thanks,
Alex

Re: LAKC and SKUSA team up
I have no idea what the hell Alex is speaking of but I have 16 BRAND NEW sets with an original purchase order that I would greatly appreciate your offer of an exchange. I would like to exchange them all at one time to make sure i don't have to drive to Van Nuys more than 1x.
Chris - I'm extremely lite on funds for karting in 2012 and the swop of tires with be a great benefit to my racing. Thanks, we will talk soon.
