PRD 125cc Controlled Tag Participants

All PRD 125cc Controlled Tag Participants attending the upcoming L.A.K.C. race this weekend (May 19 and May 20, 2012), at Cal Speed must be advised of the following New Rule:

Spark plug: NGK standard BR8EG, BR9EG or BR10EG.
Spark plug cap: Must be marked with “NGKTB05EMA” or “NGKLB05EMH”
Spark Plug gap: Maximum spark plug gap .025”
With exception to the gap the spark plug is to be unaltered.

Although sudden, the above will be a part of tech effective immediately!

RLV/PRD-USA representatives will be at the track by 8:00am May 19, 2012. Any PRD 125cc Controlled Tag entrant will be given a spec spark plug free of charge. The spark plug cap will be available if needed.

Don't believe a word that comes out of my mouth - free plug, not cap.

Will RLV be at the race on May 20th? We won't be practicing on May 19.

Read the RLV update about the coil and cdi issues. Not sure the plug is the issue. Phil from Pitts set up my new easy start ignition before the IKF race. The cdi was faulty out of the box. Never even tried to fire. I was lucky I had purchased two kits and had to rob the other kit of the cdi. Now I have to try and exchange it before I disable my other prd. Never had any problems starting the prd with the hand held starter before the upgrade. Now that the update is done we were left on the grid not unable to get fired for the main with any starter.
