 Deluxe Class minimum weight I have two drivers racing this year with Deluxxe Class.. I checked the rules on the LAKC website...it says 440 lbs..but in the other hand I heard the minimum weight will be lower than that...so if some of the board member or technical can confirm the minimum weight for Deluxxe Class it would be great.. Re: Deluxe calss minimum weight There are a number of errors in our class listing and we will have them corrected next week. The correct weight is 425 lbs.

Re: Deluxe calss minimum weight Maybe they are changing the weights to line things up with SKUSA/PKC?
My only thought is that I hope that the thoughts and concerns of current Deluxxe drivers are taking into consideration since there is a close group of them that has been quite dedicated to this class - participating, promoting, etc...
In any event, the 2013 season is promising to be quite exciting, particularly in shifters with so many pre-season changes within and related to drivers and teams.

Re: Deluxe calss minimum weight As part of our cooperation with Superkarts!USA, we have made a number of changes to bring our shifter and TaG classes in agreement with their rules. The shifter class names are now S-2, S-4, Open Shifter, and Magnum. The weights are 385 lbs. for S-2, 405 lbs. for S-4, and 425 lbs. for Magnum. The Open Shifter weight continues at 395 lbs. Please note that the 2013 class structure is labeled "Tentative". We should have all of this firmed up next week when we post the official 2013 class information.
