 old dude has questions
I am 53 years old and am thinking about getting back into karting.I do not want to spend a fortune, but would like to be competitive(if possible). I have found a used Tony Kart (2006 Krypton) with a Leopard engine, would I be able to compete at all with this old of an kart, or am I better off getting something a little newer, prefer a class that has quite a few entries,do not just want to run with 1 or 2 guys.Any info would be much appreciated.Hopefully I am not too old to be doing this, I am 5' 8" around 200 lbs.

 Re: old dude has questions
Plenty of people older than you out there. Think about prd class though if you want a big turnout to race against. Plus prd has that smoking deal right now of 999 for complete package.

If you think 53 is old, then I must be ancient!

Both of those classes will feature our non-contact rules so they are great classes for novice drivers. You will enjoy running in either group. Let us know if you have any questions. Jarrod
