Rules
- 1. Priorities are based on 1) Volunteering for LAKC, 2) Presence , and 3) Sponsorship
- 2. Aisle spot permitted for class sponsors and volunteers whose primary business is to sell and provide kart parts, equipment, tires, fuel, etc.
- 3. You may not use reserved pit spots to soley park vehicles. Pit spaces are for racing equipment (trailers, trucks, vans etc,) NOT personal vehicle parking.
- 4. Reserved pit spot are valid for Saturday & Sunday of LAKC race weekends only.
- 5. You must notify LAKC 4 days in advance if you are not going to attend a race so the pit map can be revised. Pit spot are NON TRANSFERABLE. You may not sell, trade, or loan your pit spot to any other racer for any reason. If you are not there the spot will become available to LAKC to re-assign.
- 6. Los Angeles Karting Championship reserves the right to alter or revoke this agreement for any reason.
Detailed Explanation
1st Pick – Gold Class Sponsors
Current year class sponsors who provided uninterrupted class sponsorship for the last 3 years and attended at least 7 out of 9 races the previous year 2 years are eligible for a maximum of 6 spots.
2nd Pick – Volunteers
Board of Directors, officers, and volunteers with 1 year of prior service and active monthly contributions are eligible for a maximum of 2 spots
3rd Pick – Gold Members
Current year LAKC members who were also reserved pit spot owners the previous 2 years and attended at least 7 out of 9 races the previous year are eligible for a maximum of 2 spots.
4th Pick – Silver Class Sponsors & Members
Current year class sponsors who provided a class sponsorship the previous year and attended at least 7 out of 9 races the previous year are eligible for a maximum of 6 spots.
Current year members who held a membership the previous year and attended at least 7 out of 9 races the previous year are eligible for a maximum of 2 spots.
5th Pick – Bronze Class Sponsors & Members
Sponsors without immediate prior year sponsorship are eligible for a maximum of 4 spots. Priority is based on the date of full sponsorship and pit spot payment.
Members without immediate prior year membership are eligible for a maximum of 1 spots. Priority is based on the date of membership and pit spot payment.
